Requires: WS100 Weather Station
The SU100, Wireless UV Sensor, for the WS100 Weather Station measures Ultra-violet rays, those rays that give us all a sunburn. The sensor collects UV data, and records a risk message and time. It has a transmission range of up to 330 feet (100 meters), and is wall mountable or stake mountable. Requires: WS100 Wireless Weather Station

If you would like to use the weather to set off events around your home, like shutting off the sprinkler if it starts to rain, or switching from air conditioning to heat in your vacation home if the temperature drops below a certain level, the weather station provides the sensors for you.
The Multi-Sensor is a stand-alone and wireless device that contains four sensors in one. It can be used to initiate a multitude of events around the home, for example, it could be used to turn the lights on when someone walks into a room, or turn on a portable heater when the temperature gets too low. The Multi-Sensor has a motion sensor, a light level sensor, a battery level sensor, and a temperature sensor all in one small package.
Sensors are used to sense things, like motion, humidity, rain, light, and temperature. This information is transmitted wirelessly to your home automation computer, and then is used to create events that control other devices, or group of devices in your home. For example, you could use a wireless temperature sensor in a room to control when a portable heater turns on and off. A motion sensor could be used to turn three lights on when someone enters your office, for example.
