We believe that the way to keep your computer running with optimum performance is to periodically do preventive maintenance on your computer. Accordingly, we offer our customers, owners of our Refined Automation Computers, a periodic maintenance, or Tune-Up Service. This can be ordered, ideally, at the time of your computer purchase, or later.

We offer our Tune-Up Service remotely over the Internet. We will let you know in advance, by email, that we will be working on your computer. You can let us know an ideal time, and your password. For security, we do not maintain a record of your password on file. At, or near, the specified time and date, we will remotely access your computer, and perform our signature Tune-Up service.

One Star Remote Tune-Up Service at $289 for service one time a year.
Two Star Remote Tune-Up Service at $478 for service two times a year.
Four Star Remote Tune-Up Service at $756 for service four times a year.

 

Services that will be performed:

1. Remove clutter, cookies, and temporary files that clog up your system.

2. Check to make sure your virus, malware, spyware definitions are up-to-date.

3. Check for, and remove spyware.

4. Check and repair links in the registry for proper operation.

5. Clean the Registry of unused and unneeded entries.

6. Update your Refined Automation Software to the latest release.

7. Send you an email report listing services performed, and any recommendations, or problems we find on your computer.

Services are prepaid annually at the time of your order. At that time we will notify you of the approximate dates your services will be performed.

Service Dates: When we notify you of your upcoming service, we will give you a date and time when we have you tentatively scheduled for your Tune-Up Service. You can accept our date and time, or you can suggest another date and time. We will do our best to honor your requested date and time, if possible. If we are already scheduled at the time you suggest, we will do the Tune-Up Service at the nearest available date and time.

Service start dates: If you order our Remote Tune-Up Service at the time of your purchase of your Refined Automation Home Automation Computer, we will start your service going forward the proper interval starting from your Ship Date. If you order Preventitive Service more than 30 days after your purchase of your Refined Automation Computer. We will do your first Preventitive Service within 30 days of your order.

Logistics and Terms: We will make three attempts to contact you on or around your service dates via email. The customer is responsible for keeping their email address current. We will send you an email every other day for a total of six business days until we receive a response back. After three email notifications, if we do not receive a response, we will wait until your next service is due to notify you again.

Passwords:When we notify you by email, we will need you to respond with your special login password. We do not keep passwords on file.

Billing: All services will be billed annually, and must be prepaid. A renewal notification will be sent to you before the anniversary date of your service contract.

Cancellation of Service: There are no refunds for missed services. We reserve the right, and our customer has the right, to cancel remote service, at any time, with an email notification. A credit will be issued for any unused services.
