The FG804 Four Wireless Water Sensors are five products, that work together, to give you four wireless water sensors. The package consists of four sensors, two sensor relays, two wireless transmitters, and a wireless receiver capable of handling two transmitters at the same time. The Reciever connects to the FG500 Water Sensor Interface Controller to turn off your water, if the any one of the four sensors detect water. The advantage of this solution is it is highly reliable, and you do not need to run wires to connect the sensor network to the FG500 Controller.
The four Water Sensors sample the conductivity between two sensor points. When water is detected it sends a signal to its Relay for distribution to the Transmitter.
The two Sensor Relays monitor two sensors each, and are connected to the transmitter which transmits a signal, picked up by the receiver, and passed to the FG500 to shut off the water. The Relays have a built-in alarm mode to notify you when the battery is low. Additional Sensors may be added to each relay to expand the system.
The two Wireless Transmitter automatically checks-in with the receiver periodically to ensure that the link is functional which increases reliability. The transmitter and receiver are frequency agile, meaning the transmitter transmits on more than one frequency to ensure that the receiver will pick up its signal, and that interference with and from other devices is minimized. It includes a mounting bracket to facilitate easy installation.
The Wireless Receiver connects to the FG500 for a complete water protection system. This is a 900 MHz spread spectrum receiver that offers high reliability and superior range. It has an internal antenna to reduce the chance of a damaged antenna, and loss of performance. The Receiver has output terminals for connection to the FG500.
This Reciever fully supervises the Two Transmitters. It has a visible alarm and fault LED so if you have several wireless water sensors, you will know which transmitter is causing the alarm.
