The FG801 Wireless Water Sensor is three products designed to give you one wireless water sensor for those hard to reach nooks that may be exposed to water leaks or flooding. It consists of a sensor, wireless transmitter, and a wireless receiver that connects with the FG500 Water Sensor Interface Controller to turn off your water, if the sensor detects water. The advantage of this solution, and the other wireless solutions, is you do not need to run wires to connect the system to the FG500 Controller.

The Water Sensor is an internally powered, microprocessor controlled device that samples the conductivity between any two adjacent sensor points of the four sensors located on the bottom of the device. The sensor is connected to the transmitter which transmits a signal picked up by the receiver, and then passed to the FG500 to shut off the water.

The Wireless Transmitter automatically checks-in with the receiver periodically to ensure that the link is functional which increases reliability. The transmitter and receiver are frequency agile, meaning the transmitter transmits on more than one frequency to ensure that the receiver will pick up its signal, and that interference with and from other devices is minimized. It includes a mounting bracket to facilitate easy installation.

The Wireless Receiver connects to the FG500 for a complete water protection system. This is a 900 MHz spread spectrum receiver that offers high reliability and superior range. It has an internal antenna to reduce the chance of a damaged antenna, and loss of performance. The Receiver has output terminals for connection to the FG500.

This Reciever fully supervises one Transmitter. It has a visible alarm and fault LED so if you have several wireless water sensors, you will know which transmitter is causing the alarm.
