This little box adds complete telephone and voice control to the Home Autoamation System in your home. It interfaces to your home automation computer to become the telephone command center for your home. It will allow you to use any telephone or cell phone to directly communicate with your home automation computer from any phone in your home, or anywhere in the world. What does this let you do? Well, for example, you can call your computer and tell it to turn the hot tub on, turn on and dim certain lights, open the garage door in 5 minutes, start the blender and stop it one minute later, and all this with a touch tone, or voice command. Pick up any phone in your home, press #, and speak your command, and it will happen.

Not only can you call in, but now your home automation computer can call your work or cell phone. It can answer your phone, give a message, take a message, and then call you, and tell you what the message is. Or if you prefer it can email you the message to your work computer.

In your home it can make those annoying telemarketing calls go away by not allowing the phone to ring unless the caller ID is detected, and taking messages without ringing the phone. When the caller ID is detected you can assign unique rings to individual callers so you know who's calling. You can have mulitple mail boxes for each member of the family, along with multiple messages to give to callers when your not home. And forget about dialing the numbers when calling friends, just pick up the phone, and say "Dial, Bill," of "Dial 911." or speak a phone number, and you will be connected.
