Sunlight UV SensorThe SU100, Wireless UV Sensor, for the WS100 Weather Station measures Ultra-violet rays, those rays that give us all a sunburn. The sensor collects UV data, and records a risk message and time. It has a transmission range of up to 330 feet (100 meters), and is wall mountable or stake mountable.

Standard Alkaline batteries contain significant amounts of water. Because of this they will freeze in low temperatures of approximately 10 F (-12 C). Consumer grade Lithium batteries have a much lower threshold for temperature with an estimated freezing range of below -22 F (-30 C).

This device works with the Weather Station. It is not a stand alone device.
