Multi-SensorThe Multi-Sensor is a stand-alone and wireless device that contains four sensors in one. It can be used to initiate a multitude of events around the home, for example, it could be used to turn the lights on when someone walks into a room, or turn on a portable heater when the temperature gets too low. The Multi-Sensor has a motion sensor, a light level sensor, a battery level sensor, and a temperature sensor all in one small package. The sensitivity of the motion sensor is adjustable for owners with small pets. Sensors work independently of one another, so one sensor could be used to initiate an event, while another sensor is used for a different event.

The Motion sensor has a range of about 30 feet. It senses motion horizonally, and has a 90 degree window. It is best mounted on a wall at a height of six to eight feet. The sensor has a side button for easy testing and setup.

The Illumination sensor can be adjusted in conjunction with your home automation control software to work under a variety of lighting conditions. It can be used to light your room at sunset or on cloudy days. You can also turn lights off if enough natural light is present.

The Temperature senor can be used to turn space heaters on and off in a room, or turn your home heating or cooling on and off when used with the "The Thermostat," and our Home Automation Control Software.

The Multi-Sensor is stand alone device requiring no additional wiring. It communicates with your home automation control software wirelessly.

The Multi-Sensor runs on 3 AAA batteries that will last about a year, and monitors its own battery level. It can notify you when the batteries get too low. It can be mounted on a wall, or placed on a flat surface.
