This secondary remote programs various components, settings, and scenes quickly and easily. It copies your network from your Master Home Automation Controller(MC700), and is easy to install.

It has six on and six off programmable buttons that can be used to both turn components on and off, and to Dim them. Each on/off pair can program up to 16 devices, for a total of 96 devices.

We have used this controller with good results, and without any problem. We like it. However, we recommend using on-off automation devices rather than dimming devices.

The dimmer controls work, but they are a little more difficult to set up properly, and the dimmer controls seems to run slower as the light gradually turns-on. The on-off devices appear to be more instantaneos.

More important, the on-off devices can handle larger elecrical loads, and because of that are more reliable. Dimming controls have diffiucutly in working with fluorescent ligths, or the newer curly-cew fluorescent lights. Use on-off controls with these devices.
