This is a scene capable controller, which means you can link this control with other controls, to control a series of on-off events. For example, you may have certain lights you want on for a party. If all your lights are controlled, you can link them together, so when company comes, at the press of a button, your lights will configure the way you want them.

There is a manual switch on the control that allows you to turn things on and off at the control. It will provide both manual and remote on, or off, switching of any device plugged into it.

Remotely, it is wirelessly hooked into, and controled from your home automation computer, or secondary remotes.

It reports its condition, or or off, back to your home automation computer.

It has a green LED light on the control to let you know the control is operating properly.

It has built-in transient surge suppression to minimize damage caused by power company line surges.

And finally, it's quiet.

This has a three prong plug, so it will only plug in to a three prong electrical outlet, or a three prong extension cord.

We highly recommend this control. We have never had a problem with it. It is very reliable. What we especially like is its 1800 watt high load rating. That means that it can handle appliances that take a lot of power, like televisions, and heaters, without burning out.
