"Rack'emUp's" Refined Automation VRAID™ disks have several advantages:
* Your data is not lost if you lose a disk drive. A new drive can be inserted, and the information on the other drives allows the new drive to recover everything stored on the lost drive.
* If you lose a drive your system can still access your data until you replace the drive.
* Since you can recover from a disk failure, this reduces the need to perform the long tedious process of continually backing up your data.
* The time it takes to read your data from your disks is sped up. So your system performance improves.

* Add to this high speed 3Gb/sec SATA disk drives, compared to the older 100 Mb/sec. EIDE technology, and you'll find "Rack'emUp" to be one extremely fast media server.

It comes with one quiet 18x DVD Burner that has the capability of recording dual layer 8.5Gb DVD disks, and recording and reading all the standard CD and DVD formats (not HD), and you have the a lot of flexibility and safety.

* "The Vault" has 2 CD/DVD's, "Rack'emUp" has one.
* "Rack'emUp" comes with a keyboard, mouse and 19" LCD Monitor, we left these off with Rack'emUp.
* With both we included: Home Automation Control software, the Home Automation Master Controller, the automated wireles on-off switch, and wireless dimmer switch.
"Rack'emUp" like "The Vault" is made to be taken out of the box, turned on, and your ready to go.
